SPEED TRAPS WITH A COP 2022: KEEPING OUR STREETS SAFE
Approximately 30 children from the local community are paired up with local law enforcement officers to spend the day catching speeders.
They will begin their day in a thrilling car chase activity, followed by lunch with local officers, and then hit the road to set up speed traps at strategic locations around the town.
The children will be equipped with radar guns and tickets to give out to any speedy drivers they catch. And to ensure maximum safety, the officers will be driving high-speed pursuit vehicles and giving chase to any offenders who refuse to pull over.
